Uses: Focus garden specimen, pole production, hedges, screening and privacy tropical, exotic, and indoor plants.

     Robert Young Giant Bamboo is favored for its beautiful golden canes. It has banana yellow culms with the occasional vertical green stripes of various widths between the internodes. This is a very pretty plant that starts out green with a dark green stripe and will eventually turn yellow while keeping the dark green stripe. In hotter summer areas the banana yellow color is replaced with bright orange. This is one of my favorite bamboo plants because of the color. Very drought tolerant. A highly sought after ornamental, and also has very good wood properties.
